Creators of the most anticipated MMORPG game in 2012, Arena Net, have announced that members of their Community Team will be at gamescom this year, but unlike last year, they will not have a playable demo of Guild Wars 2. Their booth will be a chillout zone—the calm before the storm—so swing by, say hi, and get free drinks.

Right now, the entire studio is focused on one thing: the launch of Guild Wars 2 on August 28. As a result, our tradeshow presence this year will be limited.
considering the fact that the game will come out mere days after GamesCom it is perfectly understandable they will be doing something a bit different this year. We will still go by the Guild Wars 2 booth and at least say hi to the people there (and take some pictures for the GW2 fans).
